FRUIT AND VEGETABLE INDUSTRY OF UKRAINE: REGIONAL CHALLENGES (Plodoovocheva haluz Ukrainy: rehionalni vyklyky)

Different approaches to the researches of regional problems of the fruit and vegetable industry development in Ukraine have been considered and critically analysed. Regional features of development of fruit and vegetable markets in Ukraine and perspective tendencies have been substantiated. The prospects of development of fruit and vegetable industry of Ukraine were grounded and approved in accordance with the cluster model. The author's method of determination of potential clusters and their kernels has been endorsed and their hypothesis on the decisive role of elements of sale infrastructure in allocation and development of fruit and vegetable industry of Ukraine has been confirmed by calculations.
