Historie katedry psychologie Filozofické Fakulty Ostravské univerzity

This paper outlines the history of the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ostrava. The Department was established in 1964 at the former Education Faculty – an independent institution that was the precursor to today’s University of Ostrava. The paper gives details of the organizational units within the Department, the specializations of the Department’s members, the teaching of psychological disciplines and related activities, research, publication and promotional activities. There is an account of the organizational changes that the Department underwent during its six decades of existence, including changes to its name. The text also focuses on the Department’s evolution following the foundation of the University of Ostrava in 1991 and its incorporation into the Faculty of Arts.

Příspěvek se zabývá historií Katedry psychologie na Filozofické fakultě Ostravské univerzity, která zahájila svou činnost na tehdejší samostatné Pedagogické fakultě, předchůdkyni dnešní Ostravské univerzity, v roce 1964. Informuje o součástech katedry, o odborných činnostech jejích členů, výuce psychologických disciplín a s ní souvisejících aktivitách, vědeckém výzkumu, publikační i propagační činnosti. Dále se zabývá organizačními změnami, k nimž došlo během šedesáti let existence katedry a které byly spojeny také se změnami jejího názvu. Pozornost je věnována i vývoji katedry po založení Ostravské univerzity v roce 1991 a jejím začlenění do Filozofické fakulty.
