Rozmieszczenie fluoru w tkankach królików po wielokrotnym podawaniu fluorku sodowego

Sodium fluoride in a dose of 10 mg/kg b.w. was being given for 10 consecutive days to experimental rabbits. After the last dose 10 experimental animals (group I) were sacrificed. The other 10 experimental (group II) and 10 control rabbits were killed ten days since sodium fluoride cessation. The content of fluoride (F) in the samples of muscles, liver, kidneys, heart, blood, urine and bones was determined by the microdiffusion-potentiometric method. Fluorine was not found above the detection limit (0.05 mg/kg) in the heart, muscles, blood and liver of the control animals. The highest concentrations of F were detected in bones, kidneys and urine both in the control and experimental animals. In group I (experimental) the content of F after 24 hours since its cessation was several times higher than that in the controls. Ten days later high contents of F were still found mainly in bones while its levels in the urine, kidneys, liver and muscles were close to the mean values of the controls.
