W artykule omówiono aktualny program studiów oraz wyzwania i problemy związane z wykorzystaniem aktywnych metod nauczania dla kierunku architektura na Politechnice Łódzkiej. W edukacji młodych architektów kładzie się coraz większy nacisk na kontekstualność architektury i jej interdyscyplinarność, a także na umiejętność pracy zespołowej. Głównym celem artykułu stało się przeanalizowanie przedmiotów prowadzonych w ramach Zakładu Historii Architektury, Rewitalizacji i Konserwacji Zabytków pod kątem wprowadzania nowoczesnych technik nauczania oraz uzyskanie odpowiedzi na pytanie: jak studenci oceniają nowe metody kształcenia? Przeprowadzone badania polegające na użyciu autorskiej ankiety i dyskusji ze studentami kierunku architektura pozwoliły na wprowadzenie kilku znaczących zmian służących doskonaleniu jakości i podnoszeniu poziomu kształcenia studentów podczas zaliczania wybranych przedmiotów, co należy do zasadniczych elementów strategii Instytutu Architektury i Urbanistyki Politechniki Łódzkiej.
The article discusses the current study program and the challenges and problems related to the use of active teaching methods for the field of Architecture at the Lodz University of Technology. In the education of young architects, there is an increasing emphasis on the contextual nature of architecture and its interdisciplinarity, as well as on the ability to work in a team. The main aim of the article was to analyze the subjects taught at the Department of the History of Architecture, Revitalization and Conservation of Monuments in terms of introducing modern teaching techniques and to answer the question: how do students evaluate new teaching methods? The research carried out using an original survey and discussions with students of Architecture allowed for the introduction of several significant changes aimed at improving the quality and raising the level of students' education when passing selected subjects, which is one of the essential elements of the strategy of the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Lodz University of Technology.
