Geologiczno-inżynierska charakterystyka gruntów antropogenicznych historycznej zabudowy Lwowa

In the article the conditions of occurrence, spatial distribution, genesis, composition and properties of technogenic soils in central part of Lviv were described. It was established that these soils cover the study area as a solid layer with thickness from 2.0-4.0 to 6.0-9.0 m. They are characterized by a high degree ofspatial heterogeneity, low values of mechanical properties and specific sensitivity caused by the presence of ephemeral elements (makrooorganic substance, soluble salts etc.) in their composition that are very susceptible to changes in air-humi-dity regime.
