The article discusses problems concerning the diagnostics of power cables, particularly the methods for diagnostic search based on measurement of non-complete discharges, method of determine the place of non-complete discharges on cabel-line, method of measurement the loss-factor, the causes of arise of non-complete discharges and diagnostic-searches of the of the power cables of middle voltage. In inferences was underlined the usefulness of systematically management of the diagnostic measurements of power cables.
