In the age of the information society, threats have emerged in cyberspace. Social media has become a convenient instrument for disseminating false information. These methods are used in targeted psychological and information operations. In the first half of the year of the development of the COVID-19 pandemic, such actions were observed. Due to the fact that the content provided related to this disease, it should be defined as „covid disinformation”. There has also been an evolution of forms of propaganda and disinformation campaigns and the way in which they are conducted.
