The article considers the causes of road damage due to the construction of horizontal holes by engineering networks by static puncture of soil. Presented is a method of calculating a permissible diameter of the hole depending on its depth and physical and mechanical characteristics of soil. A combined method of hole construction is proposed for increasing the hole diameter, as well as a guidance for selecting the equipment and calculating its working parameters.
