Na podstawie aktualnych danych przedstawiono źródła i stan skażenia gleb i wód produktami rafineryjnymi i ich pochodnymi. Omówiono proces zachowawczy przeróbki ropy naftowej. Przedstawiono również niektóre ze sposobów usuwania produktów naftowych ze środowiska wodno-gruntowego.
