The author took part in a discussion on world security. He brings in the achievements of national and supranational institutions in the process of their current formation, e.g. he emphasizes the significance of works by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute. Further in the article, the author also discusses factors igniting the outbreak of social conflicts, such as poverty, religious intolerance, armaments etc. He also emphasizes the significance of integration operations conducted both, on the economic as well as military basis.
