W pracy przedstawiono podstawowe założenia koncepcyjno-wdrożeniowe funkcjonowania portowo-morskiej platformy informacyjnej Port Community System i szacowane efekty jej użytkowania. Szczegółowo oceniono wymagania techniczno-organizacyjne platformy PCS, które zobrazowano na przykładzie portu Hamburg. W dalszej części scharakteryzowano polskie środowisko portowo-morskie i jego niską gotowość do wdrożenia systemu PCS. Większą uwagę skupiono na ostatnich inicjatywach i projektach budowy polskiego PCS, zgłaszanych przez różne instytucje branżowe, ośrodki naukowo-badawcze i podmioty komercyjne.

The paper presents the basic conceptual and implementation concepts of the Port Community System port and sea operation and the estimated effects of its use. The technical and organizational requirements of the PCS platform have been assessed in detail, as illustrated by the Hamburg port. The Polish port-marine environment and its low readiness to implement the PCS system are further described. More attention was paid to recent initiatives and projects for the construction of Polish PCS, reported by various industry institutions, research centers and commercial entities.
