Rozwój monitoringu wód w Polsce

W artykule przedstawiono rolę i ogólny zakres monitoringu stanu wód w ramowej dyrektywie wodnej. Zaprezentowano światowe kierunki rozwoju elementów technicznych monitoringu wód. Przedstawiono wkład Instytutu Mereorologii i Gospodarki Wodnej (IMGW) w rozwój monitoringu jakości wód i systemów informacyjnych. Wskazano zmiany w monitoringu wód w nowych ustawach, postulując konieczność wprowadzenia monitoringu ścieków.

The article presents a role and the scope of water state monitoring at the water framework directive. World's directions in the development of technical elements of water monitoring have been discussed. An input of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management in the development of water quality monitoring and information systems was given. Changes in water monitoring in new law were indicated and the introduction of wastewater monitoring was postulated.
