The article contains a current overview of the country and the world iniormation in terms of innovative textronic solutions and the use of RFID technology in the protective and work clothing. The analysis of threats in the environmental working conditions in the construction industry and the needs of employees and employers was conducted. Presented technological solutions are related to increasing the functional workwear, which can reduce the risk of accidents and increase the effectiveness of communication. The materials elaborated within the framework of the international project Interreg Baltic Sea Region ,,- SWW - # R006" Smart and Safe Work Wear Clothing".
