Much is written about the role of social media in human life in the psychological, sociological or social aspects. Business publications in turn concentrate on research and analysis of using social media in relationships: firm – client, or more generally, the company and its environment. On the other hand, relatively little is written and said about the usefulness of social media inside the organization. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to present social media tools as a part of an effective knowledge management system in the company.
