The effect of fluid viscosity on the characteristics of gear pump of declared capacity of 2.5 m3·h-1

The paper presents selected characteristics of gear pump of declared volume flow rate of 2.5 m3·h-1. The effect of viscosity on among others: volume velocity and power of the pump shaft has been determined. It has been found that the viscosity significantly influences the characteristics of the pump.
