Ranking wyższych uczelni technicznych w Polsce w 2023 r. na podstawie światowego rankingu cytowań

W artykule przedstawiono nową ocenę publikacji polskich naukowców w 2023 r. dla 18 uczelni technicznych opartą na międzynarodowym rankingu w kategorii cytowań („World’s TOP2% Most Influenced Scientists”) oraz porównano ją z wynikami poprzedniego rankingu z 2022 r. Porównanie, które ma charakter ilościowy i jakościowy, oparto na całkowitej liczbie cytowań, średniej liczbie cytowań odniesionej do liczby osób ujętych w rankingu oraz średniego indeksu h wyznaczonego dla każdej z uczelni i sumy indeksów h. Zaprezentowano liczne wnioski wyjaśniające dostrzegalny wzrost liczby cytowań w grupie wyższych uczelni technicznych. Odnotowano 20% przyrost cytowań rok do roku.

The article presents a new assessment of the publications of Polish scientists in 2023 covering 18 technical universities based on the international citation ranking (based on ,,World’s TOP2% Most Influenced Scientists”), which is compared with the results of the previous ranking from 2022. The comparison, which is quantitative and qualitative, is based on the total number of citations, the average number of citations related to the number of people included in the ranking and the average h-index determined for each university, and the sum of h-indexes. Numerous conclusions were drawn explaining the noticeable increase in the number of citations in the group of technical universities. In general, there was a year-to-year 20% increase in citations.
