Oznaczanie wybranych zanieczyszczeń środowiska w próbkach gleby i osadów dennych w wykorzystaniem techniki GC-MS

The determination of pollutants in soil and sediment samples is one of the most complicated task in environmental analysis. This is caused by the complex matrix which consists of many unwanted compounds, e.g. lipids, sulphr and many ther, There are two conditions which the method used prior to analysis should be fulfilled: selectivity and the proper detection and quantitation limits. In this work the method for the final determination of pesticides, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) with GC-MS were presented. Beaucose both the low detection limit and the high selectivity are required, the conditions of GC system (performation of the injection, column selection and oven temperature programme) and MS (e.g.SIM) were thoroughly established. The method allows the rotine pesticide, PCBs and PAHs determination in the environment samples.
