Statistical risk analysis in glider flight.

In this study, the author introduces a statistical model of risk in the system man-glider-environment. The model is then utilised for the analysis of glider flights, based on statistical data concerning glider accidents in Poland and in Britain. It was proven, among other things, that a high level of individual risk is characteristic for glider flights. For example, this risk is many times higher than the individual risk associated with road traffic.

W opracowaniu przedstawiono statystyczny model ryzyka w systemie człowiek-szybowiec-otoczenia, a nastepnie - jego wykorzystanie do analizy ryzyka w lotach szybowcowych na podstawie danych statystycznych o wypadkach szybowcowych w Polsce i w Wielkiej Brytanii. Wykazano między innymi, że z lotami szybowcowymi związane jest bardzo duże ryzyko indywidulne. Tak na przykład jest ono wielokrotnie większe niż ryzyko indywidualne związane z ruchem drogowym.
