Początkowa część pracy przedstawia uwagi o aktualnym stanie fizyki spawania. W dalszej części scharakteryzowano wybrane zagadnienia fizyki spawania obejmujące: ocenę procesów termicznych, kształtowania spoiny i ocenę naprężeń. Synteza wymienionych rozważań znalazła swoje odzwierciedlenie w charakterystyce systemu ekspertowego SYSWELD+.
In the first part of the paper it has been commented on the present state of the physics of welding. In the further part it has been characterized some selected issues of the physics of welding comprising: the assessment of thermal processes, formation of the weld bead and the assessment of stresses. The synthesis of the mentioned considerations has been reflected in the characteristics of the SYSWELD+ expert system.
