Średniowieczne miasta Pomorza Zachodniego - kształtowanie się autonomii mieszczaństwa

Od pierwszej połowy XIII w. następują lokacje miast Pomorza Zachodniego na prawie niemieckim. Wynikają one głównie pobudek gospodarczych i wiążą się z przyznaniem miastom przywilejów. Mieszczanie stają się coraz bardziej niezależni od władzy feudalnej. Efektem uzyskiwania samodzielności jest utworzenie Rady Miejskiej - organu samorządu.

Since the first half of the thirteenth century follows the locations of cities in West Pomerania under German law. They arise mainly from the economic motives and are related to the privileges granted to cities. The townspeople are becoming more independent of feudal power. The result of obtaining the independence is creation of the City Council - a local authority.
