The methods to identify the rotor angular position used in sensorless control usually do not pro vide the sufficient angular resolution. We can increase the resolution using the digital synthesis systems, but this approach uses linear extrapolation which is characterized by low accuracy. The article shows how to solve the problem. To determine the angular position the polynomial Aitken extrapolation with the improved accuracy is used.
