Etyka geomatyczna

Rosnące zainteresowanie problematyką moralną działalności w zakresie geomatyki znajduje swoje odzwierciedlenie w tworzeniu kodeksów etycznych przez organizacje zawodowe takie, jak Asocjacja Miejskich i Regionalnych Systemów Informacyjnych (URISA) oraz Międzynarodowa Federacja Geodetów (FIG). Rozważania ogólniejsze, ale również istotne dla geomatyki, doprowadziły do powstania deklaracji i kodeksów etycznych Europejskiej Fundacji Nauki (ESF), Europejskiej Federacji Narodowych Stowarzyszeń Inżynierskich (FEANI) i licznych organizacji ukierunkowanych na problematykę gospodarczą. W artykule dokonuje się przeglądu rezultatów tych działań, dążąc do rozwinięcia dyskusji na temat problemów etycznych polskiej geomatyki w jej szerokim rozumieniu, a więc z uwzględnieniem geodezji i kartografii.

The growing concern about moral dimensions of geomatics-related activities is reflected in the creation of codes of ethics by professional organizations such as the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) and the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG). More general considerations, but still relevant to the geomatics, resulted in the ethical statements and codes of ethic of such organizations as the European Science Foundation (ESF), the European Federation of National Engineering Associations (FEANI) and numerous business-oriented organizations. The paper reviews the results of these efforts and attempts to stimulate the debate about ethical problems of the Polish geomatics in a broad sense, including surveying and mapping .
