Zastosowanie metod statystycznych w ocenie zasobów energetycznych wiatru jako alternatywnego źródła energii dla węgla

W artykule przedstawiono uwarunkowania rozwoju energetyki wiatrowej w Polsce jako alternatywnego źródła energii elektrycznej w stosunku do energii z węgla oraz perspektywę wzrostu wykorzystania energii wiatru w najbliższym czasie. W głównej części artykułu przedstawiono możliwości zastosowania metod statystycznych w analizie danych pomiarowych prędkości i energii wiatru dla oceny potencjału energetycznego wiatru i wydajności energetycznej elektrowni wiatrowych, co jest niezbędne dla oprawnego dokonania oceny opłacalności instalowania elektrowni wiatrowych.

The aim of this paper is to present the conditions of wind energy development in Poland regarded as a substitute for coal energy as well as to demonstrate the prospect of the increase in usage of wind power in the nearest future. In the main part of the paper the possibilities of application of statistical methods are presented. These methods can be applied to describe and measure wind speed and wind energy and are crucial to the proper assessment of wind power provision as well as of the efficiency of wind turbines. In result such methods are required to the proper estimation of the profitability of wind power stations.
