Self-government social responsibility (SSR) in the concept of sustainable development

Social responsibility is a particularly topical issue in Poland at present. It is an innovative method of achieving competitive advantage and a vital element of the management system, stemming from new roles assumed by entities operating in the economy sector and local structures, as well as current trends in innovative management. In its ideal version, social responsibility is a concept in which entities take account not only of their own interests, but also pay attention to the welfare of other groups which they directly or indirectly affect, and are concerned about maintaining positive relations with stakeholders.
