W artykule przedstawiono nowoczesne metody pomiaru deformacji powierzchni terenu. Pokazano kolejność poszczególnych etapów badań i ich wzajemne powiązania. Zwrócono uwagę na niektóre przepisy regulujące ochronę środowiska.

The paper presents modern methods applied for the measurements of surface ground deformations. The sequence of particular stages of investigation process was presented together with their mutual relations. Some legal regulations involving the protection of environment were emphasized.
