On a certain mathematical model of a mine fire located in the goaf

This article contains a presentation of a mathematical model of the mine fire, which takes into account the consumption of oxygen in the coal combustion process. The adopted mathematical model of the mine fire, given in cylindrical coordinates, enables calculation of the temperature of the mine fire in the goaf, taking into consideration the transport and conduction of heat emitted during the coal combustion process. Furthermore, the absorption of heat by walls surrounding the goaf has also been taken into consideration.
