Odkształcenia skurczowe to jedna z najistotniejszych właściwości reologicznych betonu. Na cechę tę należy szczególnie zwracać uwagę w kompozytach drobnokruszywowych. Kilkuletnie badania prowadzone przez Autora pozwoliły określić ilościowo skurcz betonów drobnoziarnistych średnich wytrzymałości w zależności od zawartości cementu w mieszankach, przy różnych kombinacjach niezbędnych domieszek i dodatku mikrokrzemionki. Stwierdzono, że wpływ ten może być zarówno korzystny jak i niekorzystny.

The contraction-induced deformation is one of the most important rheological properties of concrete. This feature must be particularly noticed in fine-aggregate composites. Authors's research work in last several years enabled him to determine in a quantitative way the fine-aggregate medium strength concrete contractions depending on cement contents in relevant blends with various combinations of necessary admixtures and microsilica additive. It was established that some combinations of modifiers have a diverse and significant impact on the rate of conctraction. It must be added that the impact can be either positive or negative.
