Profilaktyka obiektów systemu zaopatrzenia w wodę w świetle teorii niezawodności

The paper shows a model of preventional renovation based on reliability theory. The model was applied for elements of water supply system. The conclusions are: • if a damage intensity index of an element was described by an exponential distribution, using preventional renovation wouldn't extend an expected value of element's working time, • if the index was described by Weibull's distribution with distribution's parameter a > 1, prophylaxis would extend an expected value of working time.
