Kryzys ekologiczny rolnictwa europejskiego a sytuacja rolnictwa polskiego

W okresie przygotowań Polski do integracji z Unią Europejską, a także narastania głębokiego kryzysu Wspólnej Polityki Rolnej bardzo aktualna staje się problematyka społeczno-ekologiczna. Duży wpływ na przyszły rozwój rolnictwa posiada koncepcja trwałego i zrównoważonego rolnictwa, która próbuje uwzględnić złożone problemy ekologiczne, ekonomiczne i społeczne. Jednakże Wspólna Polityka Rolna UE odbiegała w dużym stopniu od idei trwałości.

In connection with the preparation for accession to the European Union and considering the growing crisis of the Common Agricultural Policy certain social and environmental issues are becoming more and more important. In the opinion of the author CAP has departed far from the sustainable development principle. The objective of the article is to present the implications of that policy for the Polish agriculture. The author offers an evaluation of the general situation in the Polish agriculture and presents the basic problems of agriculture and rural development against the ecological policy of the European Union. He also presents the problems related with the further development of the European agriculture in the conditions of the latest environmental threats.
