The possibility of using papers in offset printing process is defined by 4 parameters. For technical purpose the most important are: grammage, roughness and Cobb60 indicator. In this article the first two were presented. However, in doctoral thesis also other parameters were defined. According to all of them it is possible to choose papers suitable for ink-jet without necessity of using brand names. Mentioned parameters were also presented in the previous “Acta Poligraphica” issues.
