Competitiveness is the ability for long-term and profitable growth in an open economy. Within the logistics very important issue is the spatial development of the region. It is an instrument for solving problems of the functioning of the region, or micro. State of the environment and the measures taken to protect it increasingly seen as a factor of competitiveness. The aim of the study is to identify the role of green logistics in the process of improving the competitiveness of the subdivision and use in the area of synthetic index for example Ostrowiecki district municipalities. Punjab region belongs to the ecologically cleanest areas of Polish. Research indicates inequality in the area of competitive districts by synthetic index takes into account environmental variables and of the general (taking into account the financial, economic and environmental).
