Regional’na dyferentsiatsia rivnia vyrobnychoho travmatyzmu v Ukraini ta Bilorusi

Differences on the basis of certain social, demographic and medical-social indices have been found out between the Western and Eastern regions of Ukraine and Belarus: Complex character of regional differences and their stability suppose the significance of historical causes in the process of formation of regional specificity. In the most generalized interpretation the social space of Ukraine and Belarus’ should be considered as the sphere of historical competition of two civilizations: Western (Latin) and Eastern (of Orthodoxal, Russian). The historical influences from the West and East have determined the formation of specific socio-cultural regions. The present work deals with the character of regional distribution and dynamics of index of production traumatism depending on historical zonality of Ukraine and Belarus’. Basing on available data c conclusion is made on different degree of validity of the indices of production traumatism in the soviet period and at the present stage.
