The Influence of the 1918 Concordat on the Development of the Catholic Press in the Second Republic of Poland

The aim of this thesis is to examine the influence of the 1918 Concordat on the development of the Catholic press through a comparative analysis of the Catholic press and the press as a whole published in 1918-1939. The data used come from the publication of the Central Statistical Office industry statistical publications and publications of press researchers of that period. The results of the analysis are the collected quantitative data of the Catholic press and the press as a whole for individual years, broken down into data sources. The results of the study provide an image confirming the thesis about the influence of the concordat on the development of the Catholic press of the Second Republic of Poland
