Wybrane wzory gościnności wobec wzorów praktyk turystycznych powstałych wokół zjawiska couchsurfingu

The article presents a model of tourism formed on the basis of rules established on Couchsurfing.org portal, which are confronted with local hospitality patterns. Author analyzes results of quantitative, netnographic researches and tries to present mechanisms and rules which regulates the shape of culture contact. It has been proven that under the slogans about openness, diversity of human behavior and efforts to eliminate negative effects of intercultural meeting, there is a particular outlook founded on the policy of multiculturalism. Concern about transnational trust and safety causes intervention of Couchsurfing inventors – they try to codify part of preferred behaviors. Therefore they connect CS idea with utopia called “hospitality without borders”. But it should be remembered that multiculturalism is limited with transiency of contact and diversity of cultural categories, that interacts with patterns of couchsurfing praxis.
