Results of a study on the efficacy of antimicrobial photodynamic therapy of a functionalised combination of two photosensitizers against Escherichia coli biofilms

This dataset contains data used in a paper entitled 'The Enhancement of Antimicrobial Photodynamic Therapy of Escherichia Coli by a Functionalized Combination of Photosensitisers: In Vitro Examination of Single Cells by Quantitative Phase Imaging', which was published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences (https://doi.org/10.3390/ijms23116137).

This dataset contains detailed results of measurements obtained during the experiments that were used in the publication.

The dataset includes data in the form of tomograms obtained by digital holographic tomography technique - files DHT.zip, confocal microscopy images - file CM.zip) and spectrophotometric spectra of the two photosensitisers tested: chlorin e6 (Ce6) - file Chlorin_abs.xlsx and Pheophobid a (Pheo) - file Pheo_abs.xlsx.

The sample designations used here are as published, i.e: Ce6 hν+ (photo-excited), Ce6 hν- (dark control), Ce6 + Pheo hν+ (photo-excited), Ce6 + Pheo hν- (dark control), Pheo hν+ (photo-excited), Pheo hν- (dark control), PS- hν+ (light control) and PS-hν- (dark control).
