A new house and its inhabitants] [An iconographic document

The photo depicts a prominent, large, brick country house with an stylish wooden porch built with planks arranged in a grille pattern. The house is surrounded with a wooden fence, there is a wide wooden gate set on brick pillars leading to the yard. Standing in front of the house, on the road, there are four men in dark frock coats and an elderly woman in a dark dress. There is a dog (a pointer ?) sitting next to the leg of the man standing on the left side of the photo. There are two women in bright dresses standing behind a fence. According to the photo's owner, it depicts a newly-built house in the village of Palędzie; the house belonged to the family who employed her grandmother as a servant

Fotografia przedstawia okazały, duży, murowany dom wiejski z estetycznym gankiem drewnianym ze zbitych „w kratkę” deseczek. Dom otoczony jest drewnianym płotem, na podwórze prowadzi szeroka drewniana brana umocowana na murowanych słupkach. Przed domem, na drodze stoi czterech mężczyzn w eleganckich ciemnych surdutach i starsza kobieta w ciemnej sukni. Przy nodze mężczyzny po lewej stronie fotografii siedzi pies (wyżeł?). Za płotem stoją dwie kobiety w jasnych sukniach. Według właścicielki zdjęcia przedstawia ono nowo wybudowany dom we wsi Palędzie, należący do rodziny, u której „służyła” jej babcia
