The photo depicts a group of people dressed in costumes in a room with a bread oven. On the left side of the photo there is a man with a long white beard and a hat on his head; next to him there is a man dressed as “turoń” - a Christmas caroller in the costume of a horned beast; next, there is a man in a hat whose face is covered in paint. Another person has his or her face painted black, and has a headscarf on his/her head and a blanket wrapped around arms. Yet another caroller is wearing a fur hat, is holding a basin and is kneeling next to the “turoń”. There is a bread oven in the background. On the back of the photo there is the following inscription: "People dressed in costumes with “turoń” during Christmas. Podgrodzie 1946"

Fotografia przedstawia grupę przebierańców w izbie z piecem chlebowym. Po lewej stronie zdjęcia mężczyzna z długą, białą brodą i czapką na głowie obok niego postać przebrana za turonia, obok niej mężczyzna z wysmarowaną twarzą, w kapeluszu na głowie. Kolejna postać ma twarz wysmarowaną na czarno, na głowie ma chustę a na ramionach koc. Kolejny przebieraniec ma na głowie futrzaną czapę a w rękach trzyma miskę i kuca koło turonia. W tle widać piec chlebowy. Na odwrocie zdjęcia inskrypcja: "Przebierańcy / z Turoniem w czasie św. Bożego Narodzenia. Podgrodzie 1946 r."
