The photo depicts a group of girls in white blouses and dark skirts and two boys working in a small filed with rakes and other tools, e.g. a watering can in their hands. On the right side there is a woman shooing gees. There are farm buildings and a wooden fence in the distance. According to its owner, the photo depicts spring works in the school garden in Chorośnica. Captured in the photo there is the photo owner’s mother – a blond girl with a rake, second from the left. The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)

Fotografia przedstawia grupę dziewcząt w białych bluzkach i ciemnych spódniczkach oraz dwóch chłopców pracujących na poletku z grabiami w dłoniach lub innymi sprzętami, np. konewką. Po prawej stronie widać kobietę zaganiająca gęsi. W tle widać zabudowania gospodarcze i drewniany płot. Według właścicielki zdjęcia przedstawia ono prace wiosenne w ogródku szkolnym w Chrośnicy. Na fotografii widać mamę właścicielki zdjęcia – blondynka z grabiami, druga od lewej. Pani pędząca gęsi to wychowawczyni Anna (...)
