Model opieki pielęgniarskiej nad pacjentem po transplantacji nerki oparty na teorii Doroty Orem

Introduction: A kidney transplantation is a method which safes patients’ life and health. The graft is the best solution in an advanced kidney failure. Thanks to it, the patient does not have to undergo chronic hemodialysis treatment. The graft does not require vascular access, eliminates the symptoms of uraemia and improves the quality of patient’s life.Purpose: The purpose of the paper was to formulate a model of medical care for the patient after kidney transplantation, based on Dorotha Orem’s theory of nursing.Materials and methods: In the paper the analysis of publications has been used as the basic method.Results: Numerous current and potential nursing problems occur at the patient after kidney transplantation. The patient requires a professional, holistic, purposeful and planned care from therapeutic team, including nurses and the family.Conclusions: A nurse’s important tasks in the medical care after kidney transplantation are supporting and educational activities for the patient and his family.

Wstęp: Transplantacja nerki jest metodą ratującą życie i zdrowie pacjentów. Przeszczep jest leczeniem z wyboru w schyłkowej niewydolności nerek. Uwalnia chorego od ciągłych zabiegów hemodializy, nie wymaga dostępu naczyniowego, niweluje objawy mocznicy i poprawia jakość życia chorego.Cel: Celem pracy było opracowanie modelu opieki nad pacjentem po transplantacji nerki w oparciu o teorię pielęgnowania Dorothy Orem.Materiał i metody: W pracy wykorzystano metodę analizy piśmiennictwa.Wyniki: U pacjenta po transplantacji nerki występują liczne problemy pielęgnacyjne aktualne i potencjalne. Wymaga on profesjonalnej, holistycznej, celowej i planowej opieki ze strony zespołu terapeutycznego, w tym pielęgniarki oraz rodziny.Wnioski: Ważnym zadaniem pielęgniarki w opiece nad pacjentem po przeszczepie nerki są działania wspierająco-edukacyjne pacjenta i jego rodziny.
