Badanie użytkowników dla potrzeb projektowania internetowych systemów informacyjnych

In this dissertation, basic methods and techniques used in designing internet information systems are presented. Basic terms as well as relations between information architects or system designers and their products’ users are explained. Some space is dedicated to characteristics of information science interest fields, especially regarding information users. Some selected examples of research on barriers, needs, information behaviors and information literacy are discussed. The author also lists research methods helpful in user studies and points out basic sorts of information about the users of any information system that its designer should gain. A various approaches towards information system designing are discussed: from system-centric to user-centric perspective, with stressing the value of the second one. Various techniques and methods were extracted and described - particularly those which are helpful in designing user-friendly information systems.

W pracy przedstawiono podstawowe metody i techniki wykorzystywane przy projektowaniu internetowych systemów informacyjnych. Wyjaśniono podstawowe pojęcia oraz wskazano najważniejsze relacje między projektantem a użytkownikiem systemu. Punktem wyjścia jest charakterystyka pól zainteresowań informacji naukowej, zwłaszcza w odniesieniu do użytkownika, wzbogacona przykładami prowadzonych badań barier, potrzeb, zachowań informacyjnych oraz kompetencji informacyjnych. Autorka wymienia też poszczególne metody badań pomocne przy poznawaniu użytkownika, wskazując, jakie informacje na temat użytkownika końcowego powinien posiadać projektant. Omówiono zmianę podejścia do projektowania systemów informacyjnych z systemocentrycznego na humanocentryczne, co było punktem wyjścia do przedstawienia kolejnych etapów projektowania w ujęciu użytkownikocentrycznym. Wyodrębniono i omówiono techniki szczególnie przydatne i często stosowane w celu tworzenia przyjaznych użytkownikowi systemów informacyjnych.
