Bibel in der Jugendsprache

The aim of this master’s thesis is the analysis of the language material included in the Bible written in youth language and the answer for three questions.Firstly, can such version of the Bible be regarded as a translation ? Secondly, can a youth language be regarded as a biblical or a sacred language ? Thirdly, is youth language a system which uses norms that are different from a standard language ? The thesis deals with the division of the most important translations of the Bible, the state of current research in the field of youth language, the most important theories of general and biblical translation and conclusions from the analysis. Fragments, sentences and single words were analysed in terms of semantics and grammar.

Das Ziel dieser Diplomarbeit war, das lexikalische Material aus einer in der Jugendsprache verfassten Bibelausgabe zu analysieren. Weiter war auch beabsichtigt, die drei Fragen zu beantworten. Erstens, ob solche Bibelversion als eine Übersetzung gilt. Zweitens, ob die Jugendsprache als eine biblische bzw. sakrele Sprache wahrgenommen werden könnte. Drittens, ob die Jugendsprache ein Sprachsystem ist, das sich anderer Normen bedient als die Standardsprache. In der Arbeit wurden die Unterteilung von wichtigsten Bibelübersetzungen, der bisherige Forschungsstand im Rhamen der Jugendsprachforschung, die bedeutsamsten Theorien der biblischen und allgemeinen Übersetzungswissenschaft und die Schlussfolgerungen aus der Analyse. Der Untersuchung wurden die ganzen Textfragmenten, einzelne Sätze und Worte gestellt und sowohl semantisch als auch gramatisch analysiert.
