Criticism of social insurence programmes

The topic of my thesis is mandatory social insurance programmes with the emphasis on pension systems. In the first place i tried to focus on the general idea and genesis of those systems. Afterwards I presented the criticism of the most often encountered reasonings supporting the necessity as well as harmful consequences of both economical and social sides of those insurance systems. In the next instance my thesis characterises contemporary pension systems in the world with the specific consideration of the new zealand and chilean systems. Further into my thesis I presented the biggest problems of Polish insurance system and the criticism of the foundations of Polish pension system reform. The last part of my project is devoted to the three proposals of pension system reform.

Tematem pracy jest zagadnienie przymusowych systemów ubezpieczeń społecznych ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem systemów emerytalnych. W pierwszej kolejności przybliżona została idea oraz geneza tych systemów. Następnie przedstawiona jest krytyka najczęstszych argumentów uzasadniających konieczność funkcjonowania ubezpieczeń społecznych oraz szkodliwe konsekwencje zarówno natury ekonomicznej jak i społecznej działalności tych systemów. W następnej kolejności praca charakteryzuje współczesne systemy emerytalne na świecie, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem systemu nowozelandzkiego i chilijskiego. Dalej zaprezentowane zostały najważniejsze problemy polskiego systemu ubezpieczeń społecznych oraz krytyka założeń polskiej reformy emerytalnej. Ostatnia część pracy poświęcona została trzem propozycjom reform systemów emerytalnych.
