Terapia dorosłych dzieci alkoholików na przykładzie działania krakowskiego centrum terapii uzależnień

Tematem pracy licencjackiej jest „Terapia Dorosłych Dzieci Alkoholików na przykładzie działania Krakowskiego Centrum Terapii Uzależnień”. Określenia „Dorosłe Dzieci Alkoholików” używa się w stosunku do tych osób, które wychowały się w rodzinach dotkniętych problemem alkoholowym. Są to rodziny dysfunkcyjne, a dzieciństwo spędzone w takiej rodzinie pozostawia trwały ślad w psychice człowieka. Osoby, które wychowały się w rodzinie alkoholowej, posiadają wiele cech wspólnych, które determinują sposób ich funkcjonowania w dorosłym życiu i są przyczyną problemów dlatego wymagają często profesjonalnej pomocy.Celem pracy jest pokazanie istoty syndromu Dorosłych Dzieci Alkoholików, problemów i zaburzeń jakie towarzyszą ich codziennemu życiu, oraz ukazaniu aspektów, które mają pomóc pielęgniarce w pracy z takimi osobami. Ponadto celem pracy jest wzbogacenie i pogłębienie wiedzy na temat syndromu DDA oraz zwrócenie uwagi, że problemy dzieciństwa mogą rzutować na życie dorosłego człowieka. Poniższa praca składa się z trzech rozdziałów. Rozdział pierwszy obejmuje zagadnienia dotyczące syndromu Dorosłych Dzieci Alkoholików tj. definicja, historia powstania ruchu DDA na świecie i w Polsce, oraz specyfika środowiska domowego DDA. W części drugiej omówiono terapię na przykładzie działania i oferty Krakowskiego Centrum Terapii Uzależnień – Ośrodka Psychoterapii DDA. Trzeci rozdział natomiast poświęcony jest roli pielęgniarki w zespole terapeutycznym zajmującym się terapią DDA.Ponadto, na pracę składa się także: bibliografia. Praca rozpoczyna się wstępem a kończy podsumowaniem omawianej tematyki.

The topic of the thesis is " Therapy of Adult Children of Alcoholics on the example of the functioning of the Cracow Service Centre of Therapy of Addictions". The term "Adult Children of Alcoholics" is used in relation to those persons who grew up in alcoholic or otherwise dysfunctional homes. Childhood spent in such families leaves a lasting trace in the human mental life. People who were brought up in the family of the alcoholic, have several characteristics in common, which determine their operation in adult life and are often the cause of problems therefore they require professional assistance. The aim of the thesis is to show the essence of Adult Children of Alcoholics syndrome, problems and disorders that accompany them through life, as well as to present the aspects which are supposed to help the nurse in working with such people. Furthermore, the purpose of the thesis is to improve and broaden the knowledge of the syndrome of ACoA and to draw attention to the fact that the problems of childhood can influence on their life as adults. This work consists of three chapters. The first chapter includes the issues concerning The Adult Children of Alcoholics syndrome, i.e. definitions, history of the formation of the ACoA movement in the world and in Poland, and specificity of the ACoA home environment. The second part discusses the therapy on the example of work and offer of the Cracow Service Centre of Therapy of Addictions – the Psychotherapeutic Service Centre of ACoA. The third chapter is devoted to the role of nurses in the therapeutic treatment team dealing with the ACoA.
