"Konflikty religijne we Francji w okresie panowania Karola IX".

The Protestant's movement started to emerge in France in the first half of XVI century. Only after couple of years, it was so strong that by the time of juvenile's kings rulings it could began the fight to rule the whole country. The period of king's Charles IX reign and the beginning of the long-lasting, devastating, religious wars is the main topic of this paper. It begins with the introduction of the main parties and their leaders. Afterwards the first four conflicts are described with the events of so called St. Bartholomew's Day massacre on 24 August 1572. The study ends with Charles IX death.

We Francji ruch protestancki zaczął kształtować się w pierwszej połowie XVI wieku. Już po kilkudziesięciu latach stał się na tyle silny, by za rządów małoletnich królów rozpocząć walkę o władzę w państwie. Okres panowania Karola IX oraz rozpoczynający się wówczas ciąg długotrwałych i wyniszczających kraj wojen religijnych jest tematem niniejszej pracy. Przedstawiono w niej główne stronnictwa i przywódców walczących stron, a następnie skupiono się na pierwszych czterech konfliktach oraz rzezi podczas nocy św. Bartłomieja 24 sierpnia 1572 roku.
