The possibilities of taking the advantage of Cracow Fortress for tourism purposes

Niniejsza praca ma na celu pokazanie walorów Twierdzy Kraków oraz przedstawienie możliwości zagospodarowania fortów do celów turystycznych. Dzięki dostępnej literaturze zawarte w niej zostały szczegółowe informacje dotyczące opisu powstania Twierdzy Kraków, a także dzięki zebranym informacjom przedstawiono obecne zagospodarowanie fortów.Autorka wykorzystując badania w postaci ankiety skierowanej do dwóch grup odbiorców, mieszkańców miasta oraz turystów odwiedzających forty pragnie uzyskać odpowiedź na główne pytania sformułowane w problemie badawczym.W pracy ukazano także podstawowe działania, jakie powinny zostać podjęte w celu spełnienia potrzeb mieszkańców i turystów odwiedzających forty. Za pomocą tych działań będzie można uratować niezagospodarowane forty przed dalszą ich dewastacją.

The aim of the master thesis is to show the advantages of Cracow Fortress and present the possibilities how to develop forts for tourism purposes. Thanks to available sources and gathered data the detailed information about the creation of the Cracow Fortress and current development the forts was included in this thesis. The author of the study used a questionnaire addressed to residents and tourist visiting the forts to get the answer for the main research question.The study also illustrates the primary actions that should be taken to meet the needs of residents and tourists. That would make the derelict forts possible to be saved from further devastation.
