Non-governernmental organisations in protection of human rights in Poland

The following thesis "Non-governmental organisations in protection of human rights in Poland" discuss the activities of these organisations in our country. It contains both the introduction to the topic of human rights and legal regulations aimed for protecting them. The thesis presents the legal basis for the operation of non-governmental organisations in Poland. It broadly describes several organisations, including the most important which fight for human rights such: Amnesty International, Polish Red Cross and Polish Humanitarian Action. It drews attention to the problem faced by non-governmental organisations, perspectives and directions for their development.

Praca „Organizacje pozarządowe działające na rzecz ochrony praw człowieka w Polsce” pokazuje działanie tego typu organizacji w naszym kraju. Znajdują się w niej zarówno ogólne informacje wprowadzające do tematu praw człowieka jak i uregulowania prawne mające na celu ich ochronę. Szerzej opisano funkcjonowanie kilku organizacji, w tym najważniejsze walczące o prawa człowieka jak: Amnesty International, Polska Akcja Humanitarna i Polski Czerwony Krzyż. Zwrócono uwagę na problemy z jakimi borykają się organizacje pozarządowe i perspektywy i kierunki ich rozwoju.
