Norweskie mikrospołeczeństwo w Krakowie

Praca ta opisuje specyficzną grupę obcokrajowców w Polsce - norweskich studentów, odbywających studia medyczne po angielsku na Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim. This essay describes a specific group of foreigners in Poland – the Norwegian students who study medicine in English at the Jagiellonian University. The subject of analysis is how the Norwegians function in the Polish society in three areas: language, culture and social life. The research is focuses on to what extent the Norwegian students learn Polish, how active their social contact with the Poles is, and how they fit in the Polish cultural norms. The summary contains an evaluation of the Norwegian students’ level of integration with the Polish society.
