The political situation in Spain in the years 1868-1873 based on polish press " Gazeta Warszawska".

The objective of this study is to present the political situation in Spain in the years 1868-1873 based on polish press " Gazeta Warszawska". So they are ignored issues that do not directly relate to the ongoing changes of political system and if the time range is beyond the scope this study among others uprising in Cuba, third war of carlism.At the beginning is presented to the politicall situation in Spain during the reign of Isabel II, next is presented revolution, which resulted in the dethronement of the Bourbons and the establishment of a democratic form of government. Later is discussed the processof forming new government. Finalny is presented functioning constitutional monarchy during the reign of Amadeus I to his abdication in February 1873.

Niniejsza praca jest próbą odtworzenia wizerunku Hiszpanii na podstawie relacji „Gazety Warszawskiej” obejmująca lata od 1868 do początku 1873 roku. Ramy czasowe stanowią wydarzenia zachodzące od rewolucji z września 1868 roku, do abdykacji Amadeusza I w lutym 1873 roku. W tym okresie miało miejsce obalenie rządów Izabeli II, ustanowienie monarchii konstytucyjnej oraz koronacja nowego monarchy pochodzącego spoza Hiszpanii. Szczególny charakter materiału źródłowego, który stanowią wiadomości publikowane w „Gazecie Warszawskiej”, umożliwia ogląd wydarzeń przez pryzmat nie tylko artykułów ukazujących się w Hiszpanii, ale także poza jej granicami.
