Early Christian meaning of Toraic retaliation rights in the context of the Gospel of Matthew

Praca dotyczy fragmentu Ewangelii Mateusza 5,39, który zawiera nakaz Jezusa nastawienia drugiego policzka w sytuacji, gdy ktoś uderzy w prawy policzek. Wybrany wers często jest określany prawem odwetu lub zasadą talionu. Pierwszy rozdział odpowiada na pytania o powstanie Ewangelii Mateusza: kto, kiedy oraz gdzie ją napisał? Następnie zostały przedstawione podstawowe informacje dotyczące kazania na górze. W zakończeniu rozdziału dokonano analizy gramatycznej wybranego wersu Ewangelii Mateusza. Drugi rozdział dotyczy prawa odwetu w tradycji judaistycznej. Przedstawia zasadę talionu w Tanachu, Talmudzie, midraszach, apokryfach, Dziejach Izraela Józefa Flawiusza.
