Attitudes towards the subculture of prison inmates

Praca składa się z 4 rozdziałów. Rozdział pierwszy zawiera: (a) wyjaśnienia terminologiczne pojęć takich jak: postawa, kultura, subkultura/podkultura, drugie życie, postawa wobec subkultury; (b) charakterystykę resocjalizacji w środowiskach więziennych; (c) opis relacji interpersonalnych panujących w więzieniu; (d) charakterystykę przejawów subkultury więziennej.Drugi rozdział zawiera opis metodologii badań w Zakładzie Karnym w Tarnowie. Podczas badań zastosowałam metodę ankiety oraz metodę wywiadu. Badaniami objęłam 30 osadzonych oraz 3 funkcjonariuszy.Rozdział trzeci poświęcony został analizie wyników badań. Zawiera on usystematyzowane oraz zebrane w tabelach wyniki dotyczące wiedzy osadzonych na temat zjawiska subkultury więziennej, stosunku emocjonalno - oceniającego osadzonych wobec zjawiska subkultury więziennej oraz zachowań osadzonych wobec subkultury więziennej.W rozdziale czwartym znajdują się uogólnienia i wnioski z przeprowadzonych badań.

The work consists of four chapters. The first chapter includes: (a) clarification of terminology concepts such as attitude, culture, sub-culture / subculture, second life, attitudes towards subcultures, (b) the characteristics of rehabilitation in prison environments (c) a description of interpersonal relations prevailing in the prison, (d) characteristic manifestations of the prison subculture.The second section describes the methodology of the study at the Department of Justice in Tarnow. During the study, I applied the method of the survey and interview method. The study took over 30 prisoners and three officers.The third chapter is devoted to the analysis of test results. It contains systematized and summarized in the tables the results of the knowledge embedded in the phenomenon of prison subculture, over emotional - evaluating inmates to prison subculture phenomena and behavior of inmates to the prison subculture.The fourth chapter are generalizations and conclusions of the study.
